Relay Boards
15 productsRelay boards are switching modules designed to safely control high-current or high-voltage loads using low-power control signals. With these boards, microcontroller outputs from Arduino, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi can directly drive motors, lamps, pumps, or other heavy loads. Electromechanical relay types offer galvanic isolation and high switching capacity, while solid-state relays (SSR) provide silent operation and extended lifetime.
Types of Relay Boards
Depending on the application, boards come in single-channel or multi-channel configurations (2, 4, 8, 16 relays), with optocoupler isolation or transistor drivers. Common coil voltages are 5V, 12V, and 24V. Some modules support communication interfaces like RS485 or I2C for remote control. When selecting a relay board, ensure the load's voltage/current ratings match the relay's specifications, and that the control logic level is compatible—otherwise issues such as contact welding or failure to trigger may occur.
Application Areas
Relay boards are widely used in home automation, smart agriculture, industrial control panels, IoT projects, and educational electronics experiments. Their ability to switch both AC and DC loads makes them suitable for a broad range of switching scenarios. Onboard flyback diode protection safeguards the circuit from back-EMF spikes caused by inductive loads.
